We want to make intelligence ubiquitous. Our in-memory compute solutions enable breakthrough new features and products, which also remaing very easy to integrate to a variety of MCU, DSP, FPGA and AI chips.
Several companies are actively engaged with us, including Bosch and other market leaders, to create their next generation products. We have won a number of awards and grants totaling several millions from various organizations such as Intel Ignite, European Space Agency, Innosuisse, and others. We have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 888129.
Alessandro and Manu started their careers in chip design roles at Analog Devices Inc, Imagination, and Apical Imaging. The advent of AI and its compute complexity motivated them to go back to academics. Their collaboration began in 2016 at the renown Institute of Neuroinformatics (University of Zürich and ETH Zürich) where they worked on various aspects of energy-efficient computation. Their work led to the founding of Synthara in 2019 whose mission is to develop computational systems to meet the diverse and complex compute demands of emerging applications in IoT, wearables, XR, automotive and more.
